Even after 35 years, I still really enjoy my daily work. However, the time has come for me to gradually step back and hand over the reins to my daughter. I am looking forward to the opportunity to pursue my various hobbies and to accompany our grandson on his journey through life.

Team leader and purchasing for hardware and textiles
Since 2013, I have been increasingly taking over the reins in the company as the fourth Gruber generation. With my expertise, I can be found working on helmets and glasses. As a passionate "Cottage-goer", you can often find me picking mushrooms in summer or laughing with my friends on the beautiful terrace.

The good soul in the team
As a super proud mum and now also a new Grandmother, I have a great deal of empathy for all the concerns of our fantastic team. I usually greet our customers at the entrance. The presentation of the accessories corner is also my domain. When it's mushroom season, you can hardly get me out of the forest.

I have been part of the Gruber Sport team for over 10 happy years. The world of sports textiles always arouses new interest in me. I have been a passionate mum to my son Matteo since 2014. To recharge my batteries, I like to enjoy the Spanish sun, the sea air or «Bella Italia».

I have been using my expertise in ski boot fitting since 2013. As an in-house craftsman, I am also responsible for many adjustments and improvements to the sales areas. I am the proud father of my daughters Luana and Andrina. Biking, skiing and floorball provide me with a balance.

I have been a proud member of the Gruber Sport team for over 30 years. In summer, I am passionate about giving advice in the shoe department or recommending the perfect rucksack for your next adventure. In winter, my expertise in the best ski preparation leaves nothing to be desired.
Gabi Etter
Retail specialist
With almost 30 years of service, I'm part of the Gruber Sport inventory, so to speak. I can develop my full potential in the Kids Corner and in our trouser competence centre. In my free time, I'm often out and about in nature, and my hobby of geocaching takes me to many beautiful places.
Ida Almeida
Retail specialist
Trained as a textile specialist, I have found my calling in the sporting goods department. As an all-rounder, I help our customers find new winter hiking boots or a trendy ski suit. I play football and enjoy skiing in winter, including après-ski.
Barbara Gemmet

With my perfect knowledge of Italian, I am the first port of call for our customers from the neighbouring south when it comes to finding the right ski or hiking trousers. In my free time, I like to spend time with my dogs, enjoy «la Bella Italia» and go canoeing.

Fresh from my apprenticeship, I am now putting my knowledge and skills directly into practice in day-to-day business. I am most fascinated by the daily interactions with new people and the diversity of our work. I am very interested in learning new things, whether by travelling or reading books.

I really enjoy working at Gruber-Sport and I love serving the regular guests of Pontresina with my expertise. In previous years I worked as a ski instructor in Australia. Now I enjoy hiking, biking and skiing in the local valley.

I am the ‘new’ member of the Gruber team. As an all-rounder, I help our customers find the perfect hiking boots or the fastest sunglasses, and in my free time you can often find me at the gym, barbecuing with my friends by the lake or relaxing to good music.

Workshop
I have been supporting the Gruber team in the workshop in winter for 6 years. Here I sharpen the customer and rental skis to adapt them perfectly to the snow conditions. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the countryside on foot or by bike.

I have been part of the great Gruber Sport team since July 2024. The world of sports textiles fascinates me and offers me new challenges and inspiration every day.
In my free time, I find great enjoyment and fulfilment in spending time with my grandson, reading a good book, moving to music or recharging my batteries on walks in nature.

In August 2022, I started my apprenticeship as a retail specialist in sporting textiles and have therefore almost completed my apprenticeship. I still enjoy learning the exciting profession of a textile retail specialist. It makes me proud when I can say goodbye to our customers with a smile. When the weather is nice, you can meet me on my motorbike.

In August 2023, I started my apprenticeship as a retail specialist in sporting goods and have therefore already completed half of my training. I am curiously learning all facets of this exciting profession and am encouraged by everyone. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, skiing and swimming in the Engadin mountain lakes.

In summer 2024, I started my apprenticeship as a retail specialist in the sporting goods sector. I learn new things about products and sports every day, which further strengthens my own passion for sport.
In my free time, I can regularly be found on the football pitch or in the gym.
Both hobbies give me the perfect balance between team spirit and personal strength - and help me to keep developing professionally.
